REGENSTECH AT THE CIRCULAR BOOTCAMP IN TARANTO: INNOVATION AND SUSTAINABILITY FOR A CIRCULAR FUTURE

Regenstech took part in the Circular Bootcamp in Taranto, an initiative within the Re-think: Circular Economy Forumorganized by Tondo and Eni Joule.
The event provided a valuable opportunity to bring together companies, startups, and innovators in the field of sustainability, promoting the development of the circular economy and innovative solutions for a greener future.

During the Circular Bootcamp, Maria Silvia presented some examples of Regenstech’s work, illustrating how we are helping to redefine circular economy principles.
Our approach focuses on using recycled materials and transforming waste into high-value resources for both the designand industrial sectors.
Every product made from recycled materials represents a step forward toward a more sustainable economic system — one that reduces the consumption of natural resources and environmental impact.

The Bootcamp opened with welcoming remarks from key figures such as Mattia Voltaggio, Head of Eni’s School for Enterprise, Domenica Surace, and Michelangelo Di Luozzo, Director of Eni’s Taranto Refinery.
It was followed by the panel “Local Ecosystems for Innovation and Sustainability”, featuring experts like Alessandro Strozzi from Open-es and Lavinia Carrese from Faros Accelerator.

The event was an important opportunity to build new connections and expand our network, exchanging ideas and exploring potential collaborations.
Discussions covered a range of key topics — from the energy transition and sustainable mobility, to emerging technologies such as green hydrogen, biofuels, and carbon capture and storage (CCS), as well as their impact on energy infrastructures.

Other sessions focused on water resource management and the blue economy, exploring technologies and trends for sustainable water use and marine environment enhancement.
The Bootcamp also addressed materials and waste valorization, highlighting opportunities to optimize production processes through circular approaches, especially within the manufacturing sector at both local and international levels.
