A patented hybrid process, a compact low‑energy plant and over 80 RESPETTO®Mix formulations to transform unsorted textile and fashion waste into high‑performance secondary raw materials, directly at your facility.

A UNIQUE TECHNOLOGY ROOTED IN A UNIQUE ECOSYSTEM

Respetto® is the result of a rare combination of mechanical engineering, automation and materials science, developed within one of the most advanced industrial ecosystems in the world.

Born in Emilia-Romagna, Italy, the technology draws on the excellence of the Motor Valley, the Industrial Automation leadership of Bologna, the strong research tradition in materials science of Ferrara, and the pioneering green chemistry hub of Ravenna, a region that has spent decades reinventing its chemical industry around sustainable, bio-based processes.

Equally important, it is grounded in the long-standing experience of Regenesi’s founders, pioneers of the circular economy, whose work with regenerated materials and circular design has made this revolutionary, world-class technological approach possible.

Together, this unique environment and entrepreneurial heritage have shaped a technology designed to tackle a global challenge: turning textile waste into high-value new materials.

A HYBRID TECHNOLOGY, DESIGNED WHERE WASTE IS BORN

Respetto® is a hybrid technology designed to overcome the limitations of both purely mechanical and purely chemical or enzymatic approaches.

Unlike conventional systems, it does not require detailed input sorting, disassembly or highly homogeneous waste streams.

Its integrated process transforms textile waste directly on-site into high-quality neo-polymers, whose characteristics can be engineered according to the intended application.

Because transformation happens where the waste is generated, Respetto® eliminates the carbon cost of moving waste across long, inefficient supply chains. This decentralized model also puts circularity directly in the hands of brands, retailers and local institutions — giving them the tools to become sustainable by design.

COMPACT, BEAUTIFUL, ON-SITE

Respetto® has been designed as a compact industrial plant that can be installed directly where the waste is generated.
This means less transport, less handling, lower environmental impact and a much more efficient circular model.

The plant is not just functional. It is also conceived as a clean, elegant and industrially robust object, suitable for on-site deployment in factories, hubs and dedicated production spaces.

FROM TEXTILE WASTE TO NEOPOLYMERS

Our process transforms unsorted textile and fashion waste into neo-polymers: high-performance secondary raw materials with plastic-like properties and broad industrial potential.
This is not simple recycling. It is material regeneration.

The output is a new class of material that can be tailored for different uses, opening the door to products with technical, aesthetic and commercial value.

MULTIPLE MANUFACTURING ROUTES

The neo‑polymer pellets generated by Respetto® can be transformed through different manufacturing technologies, unlocking a wide range of product possibilities that have already successfully tested several processes and are continuously exploring new routes to expand the application spectru

You can highlight each tested route in its own box, for example:

INJECTION MOLDING

Neo‑polymer pellets can be used in conventional injection molding processes to produce high‑quality components and accessories, leveraging existing industrial equipment with minimal or no adaptation

3D PRINTING

By converting neo‑polymers into formats suitable for 3D printing, Respetto® enables the creation of complex geometries, rapid prototypes and short‑run series with high design freedom

ROTATIONAL MOLDING

The material can be processed via rotational molding to obtain hollow or large‑volume objects, opening opportunities in furniture, design and other sectors.linkedin+1

FILAMENT EXTRUSION

Filament extrusion is currently being developed to expand the Respetto® platform into textile-to-textile applications. This will allow the regenerated material to be transformed into continuous filament formats, opening new possibilities for circular textile production and broader manufacturing uses

As new needs emerge, we work with partners to identify and validate further production methods, making Respetto® a growing platform for both prototyping and industrial manufacturing
